tips on building a sauna?
so im thinking about building a Small Sauna,probably big enough for 4 ppl to sit in,and my plan is to take 2X4's and make a frame then cover it in ply wood and cut in a door and some holes for vents,and im thinking about taking an old grill and having a charcoal fire in it and suspending a metal pan with rocks in it over the fire,to pour water on to make the steam,i found a website thatdescribes various rocks i can use to avoid the wrong kind of rock that may explode when heated,so i think im gona spend $50 on the wood and the grill will be free since i got one that i dont use and rocks are free,and on another note,would it be good/bad to use treated wood because im worried about the heat and steam making the wood sweat
There is no way you can buy enough wood to build what you've described for $50!! Also burning charcoal in an enclosed space is NOT a good idea. I think you should do some more research before you kill yourself with carbon monoxide poisoning.
