Infrared Saunas
Has anyone out there tried a Far Infrared Sauna?
If so, do you think that far infrared saunas help your health? What was your experience with the FIR sauna?
Don't discount it because mainstream medicine does not understand or advocate it. There is much that mainstream medicine has yet to discover or understand about healing and their research tends to concentrate on drugs and treatments they can control and profit from.
Sunlight gives heat too, but we know that sunlight provides much more benefit than heat alone.
Mainstream medicine does not yet have a firm understanding of all the ways in which far infrared sauna work (and thus the naysayers), but the more it is researched the more evident it becomes that it has more benefits than can be attributed to heat alone.

Since that is a sales site, I realize that some claims are likely exaggerated, but it is hard to dispute everything that is contained in the information there.
I don't understand far infrared sauna either, but I am open minded enough to see that it does have apparent benefits.
